Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Miami International airports are expecting the busiest travel season ever for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
More than 937,000 passengers are expected at MIA during the eight-day Thanksgiving travel week, from Monday, Nov. 23, to Monday, Nov. 30. Traffic is expected to be up by almost seven percent compared to last year, with the busiest days expected to be Saturday, Nov. 28, and Sunday, Nov. 29, with more than 130,000 passengers a day.
